"Re-Opening" precautions we are taking during the COVID-19 pandemic

Updated August 6, 2020

**PLEASE READ**

We will be SLOWLY re-opening our trainings. Currently we are limiting the number players at our training. We anticipate slowly opening more spots in the near future.

To ensure the safety of ALL involved while we navigate our way to the "new normal", The I'm Possible Training Sacramento/Rocklin training center is putting in place the following safey guidelines for all GROUP TRAININGS, SMALL GROUP TRAININGS and PRIVATE 1-on-1 TRAININGS:

1) A signed "Assumption of Risk Waiver Liability"

  • Every player under the age of 18 MUST have a "Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19" form submitted by their parent/guardian.
  • Players aged 18 and over will be allowed to sign for themselves.

You can print and view the waiver here (PDF form):

Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19.

OR you can fill out the online form below and electronically acknowledge the "Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19"

This electronic form is mainly for those participating in private sessions. If you are registering for the group session, the same agreement is agreed to when registering. THIS FORM IS NOT A REGISTRATION FORM.

2) Group Sessions will involve:

  • Each person will be given a temperature check upon entering. If temperature is 100.4 or more, they will not be allowed inside.
  • Parents staying to observe must wear face masks inside of the building. This will be enforced by Hardwood Palace staff.
  • All players will be assigned to a court by the I’m Possible Training Center Director. Players may only use the courts during their scheduled time. There are no open times for the courts being used for training. All use for ALL courts is scheduled directly with Hardwood Palace
  • PLEASE HAVE YOUR PLAYER BRING ADEQUATE WATER. The water fountains inside Hardwood Palace have been turned off temporarily to help avoid the spread of germs.
  • In an effort to limit the number of touches on door handles we will have one location for entry and one location for exiting the gym.
  • We are STRONGLY ENCOURAGING player drop off at this time. And ask parents, grandparents, siblings, etc. to remain outside unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. We would like to limit the amount of people inside of the building.
  • Players must bring their own basketball. Player name must be on ball for identification.
  • Players should bring their own sanitizer if possible. Hand sanitizer will be available on site during training as well.
  • When possible, players will be kept 6 feet apart.
  • Non-basketball gatherings at the courts are strictly prohibited. Activity or gatherings of any kind before or after training or “extra” training time is prohibited. There is no loitering at the gym before or after training.
  • No food should be brought to training and players should not share water bottles or other drinks at any time. Participation in I’m Possible Training is intended to provide a safe, socially distant physical fitness activity for players.
  • We hope to increase the number of players at training once it is permitted by local guidelines.

Complete safety precautions and guidelines we are currently following.

3) To allow us to sanitize between sessions for INDIVIDUAL/PRIVATE sessions:

  • We will schedule a 15 minute block between sessions.
  • Players MUST exit after the session within 10 minutes of ending.
  • Sanitizing will include, but not be limited to: Wiping down any training tools used in the training session, wiping down any 'common' surfaces (chairs, door handles, etc.).
  • 4) ALL one-on-one (small group-3 or less) training sessions will involve:

  • One player only or siblings FROM THE SAME HOUSEHOLD
  • To limit the exposure to our trainers, only ONE parent will be allowed in the training room during the training session.
  • 5) As restrictions are lifted we will adjust as appropriate.

If you or your player has a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, headache, mild fever - or any other symptoms of being ill, please stay home. If you have already scheduled a session, simply call or text your trainer and let them know you will need to reschedule. If you cannot reach your trainer, please text 916-747-5479.

PLAYERS MUST BRING THEIR OWN BALL and WATER.
